libgtkspell3-3-0 software package provides spell-checking addon for GTK+s TextView widget, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgtkspell3-3-0
libgtkspell3-3-0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgtkspell3-3-0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgtkspell3-3-0 *
You will get with libgtkspell3-3-0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
